Hotel Sun Ha Bacalar

The room had modern decor and a amazing view over the lake. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was intermittent in our room.

My experience was less than pleasant. The breakfast didn't begin until 8 am, resulting in frustratingly long waits for service. The room I received was not what I had hoped for. It lacked basics like towels and toiletries. The Wi-Fi connection was almost non-existent.

The staff was very attentive at all levels.

The location near the lagoon made it easy to access for morning swims and sunrise views, just a 2-minute stroll to public access. The room was decent and clean, with ample space and a good reading light. The breakfast could have offered more variety. We found the mini-bar stocked but could use some upgrades. I faced a minor inconvenience with the pool hours. It opened later than expected at 11 AM, so morning swims weren't an option. There were also some electrical outages , which affected water access for a while. Staff response to issues was quick, and they were very attentive despite the language barrier. The decor felt inviting, complemented by a beautiful garden area.

Came in Bacalar to relax and have fun, this brand-new hotel was wonderful base for doing it. We got a well-appointed double room. It included a safe box, a minibar, and cable programming, and the bed was good. The location was beautiful and in front of a lagoon and a lake. Truly enjoyed our fairly nice stay there a lot.

Location : the hotel was close enough to the main cafes and restaurants, the Bacalar lake and the public balneario for swimming in the lagoon. It was good to be 1 mile away from Porque No, serving short-orders😀

The room was nice, simple but clean and decorated with taste. The waterfront view of the lagoon provided a picturesque setting for breakfast, simple but good. The decor was tasteful.

It offers well-appointed rooms with the balcony or terrace and music plus terrace.

The presence of loud pigeons and their droppings on the terrace made it quite unpleasant!!! Wi-Fi connectivity issues persistently plagued my stay!!!

Loved the clean room, great location by the public pier, and the lovely outdoor balcony with lagoon views. It was awesome to have filtered water available! I enjoyed my hammock time overlooking the water.

The location was excellent, providing easy access to the beautiful lagoon, and the spacious room featured lovely decor with a fine view. Breakfast included fresh, organic fruits, a good treat. The breakfast timing was quite limiting, as service was less accommodating later in the morning. The pool hours starting late at 11 AM hindered early swims, and intermittent Wi-Fi.

We had a pleasant stay with a nicely maintained pool and a lovely rooftop area. The room was good, but it differed slightly from the pictures. I'd definitely return!

Chill vibes and nice views

We had a nice room with comfy beds and good A/C. The rooftop was perfect for sunsets, and the outdoor dining area was really relaxing. The only thing? The stairs were a bit of a trek, especially after a long day. The public lagoon access was super close, a major plus!

All good, fulfills its purpose. The hotel is close to the city square while providing peaceful areas to relax. Lagoon access dock is a nice touch.

The view from the roof terrace was amazing. Perfect. Breakfast included a local delight called cochinita pibil, a tasty find!
